As Guild president Linda Reimer stated, “The food by The Inn on the Pond's Le Cordon Bleu Chef Alex was incredible, the setting was festive, the program was beautifully orchestrated by Bonnie Berman, director of volunteers, and it was enjoyed by all who attended. In 2009, Dr. Steven Warren began the Gail S. Warren Volunteer Education Fund in loving memory of his wife who was Menorah Manor’s director of volunteers for many years and made a major impact on our community. In memory of Gail, an exemplary volunteer is chosen each year at the volunteer appreciation luncheon and is honored with the Gail S. Warren Volunteer of the Year award. The 2012 Volunteer of the Year is Les Levi Jones. Les works in many capacities at Menorah Manor’s St. Petersburg Campus. From fixing clocks around the building to transporting residents in the rehabilitation center to lending a helping hand in the maintenance shop, Les can always be counted on when needed. His positive attitude and warm heart gives him the capability to pursue Menorah Manor’s mission by helping to provide a warm, homelike Les Levi Jones, right, and his son Robert Jones environment for all of our residents.
