Award’s namesake gets inaugural honor from B’nai Brith

A crowd of nearly 100 people gathered at Temple Ahavat Shalom during a recent B’nai B’rith meeting to see Dr. Norm Gross receive the first “Dr. Norman N. Gross PRIMER Advocacy Award.” The award, created by an endowment fund held at TOP Jewish Foundation, will be given yearly to the individual who best embodies the mission of PRIMER (Promoting Responsibility in Middle East Reporting) organization. Gross founded PRIMER to counter written, visual and oral messages against Jews and Israel “through media watch, media response and dissemination of complete and accurate information.”
