Beth Israel, Jewish Congregation of Sun City Center

Book Club: The next lunch and book discussion will be Tuesday, March 23 at noon at the Renaissance. This month’s book is The Devil’s Arithmetic by Jane Yolen. For more information, call IdaLea at 642-8981.

Rummage sale: The congregation’s fourth annual rummage sale will be on Tuesday, March 23 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. An assortment of clothing, small electronics, kitchen items, linens and more will be offered for sale. Anyone having items to donate for the sale, dropoff dates are Sunday, March 21 and Monday, March 22 between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. For more information, call Pearl Birnbaum at 633-5981.

Bagels and discovery: St. Petersburg Times columnist Ernest Hooper, as well as business manager Tony Decastillio and Brandon Times editor Sherrie Day will talk about the paper during a meeting of the Men’s Club on Sunday, March 14. For more information, call club president Steve Blesofsky at 634-6013.

Good neighbors: The Men’s Group of neighboring St. John the Devine Episcopal Church has been invited to join the Beth Israel Men’s Club for a meeting and lunch on Wednesday, March 24 at noon to hear Sharon Roush, CEO of South Bay Hospital, speak on future plans for the hospital.
