Obituaries

JACK BERG, 75, of Tampa, died March 30. A native of Massachusetts, he moved to Tampa in 2005. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Rita; sons and daughters-in-law; Steven and Debbie Berg, Tampa, Richard and fiancée Cindy, Boston; Lawrence and Carol Berg, Tampa; brother, Sherman Berg, Boca Raton; eight grandchildren. The family suggests memorials may be made to LifePath Hospice in Tampa. (Segal Funeral Home, Beth David Chapel)

DIANE STIEGEL, 46, of Tampa, died March 20. Survivors include her father, Richard Stiegel; sister, Lori Stiegel, of Falls Church, VA. (Segal Funeral Home, Beth David Chapel)

RUTH CHERESHNIA ZACK, 89, of Tampa, died March 29. Born in Detroit, she lived in Oak Park, MI until 1974. She was a graduate of Wayne State University and a charter member of the Tampa Chapter of the Brandeis National Committee. She was an active participant in literature and film review groups. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Edward; daughters and sons-in-law, Nadine and Dennis Feldman and Betsy and Abe Marcadis, both of Tampa; four grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to Brandeis University, Weinberg Village or the Jewish National Fund. (Segal Funeral Home, Beth David Chapel)
