’Reminder: Israel Independence Day celebration is Sunday

Celebrate Israel’s 62nd birthday at the Tampa Jewish Community Center’s annual Israel Independence Day Celebration on Sunday, April 25.
The free event, open to the entire community, will be from noon - 4 p.m. at the newly renamed Maureen and Douglas Cohn Jewish Community Campus.
There will be a $5 entry fee to park at the event, and food and drink tickets will be available for purchase.
The celebration will feature live entertainment by the Mike Eisenstadt Band, Israeli dancing, Israeli food, carnival treats and birthday cake, a kids’ kibbutz, including arts and crafts, a petting zoo, tie-dye activities, face painting, a balloon artist, and bounce houses; a Kadima tournament, an Israeli marketplace, and community organization bazaar.
A highlight of the day will be a ribboncutting and dedication of the Maureen and Douglas Cohn Jewish Community Campus.
