GERALDINE “GERRI” LASKY, 82, of Tampa, died May 6. She was a native of Tampa who grew up near Robles Park and graduated from Hillsborough High. She worked a short time for the Tampa Times prior to marrying her husband Samuel and moving across the country for many years while Sam was in the military. They moved back to Tampa in 1970 when Sam was stationed at MacDill Air Force Base prior to retirement. She then worked for Maas Brothers as a payroll supervisor, for almost 20 years. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Samuel; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Ruthie Lasky, of Alpharetta, GA, Lawrence and Kathie Lasky, of Pensacola; daughters, Suzanne Griffith and Francine Donoho and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Lasky, all of Tampa; six grandchildren and one great-grandson. The family suggests memorials may be made to the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. (Segal Funeral Home, Beth David Chapel)
