Sydney Erin Wasserman

Sydney Erin Wasserman, daughter of Sandia and David Wasserman of Tampa, will be called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, June 26 at Congregation Schaarai Zedek in Tampa.

A seventh grade honors student at Liberty Middle School, Sydney is a member of the National Junior Honor Society and was invited to participate in the Duke University Talent Identification Program. She enjoys tap, jazz and playing the piano and recently received a Superior rating at the Hillsborough County National Federation of Music Clubs competition. For her mitzvah project, Sydney participated ion the Linus Project, sewing and knitting blankets that were donated to Haiti and to local hospitals and organizations for children.

The Wasserman Family will host a dinner reception at Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club on Saturday evening, June 26.

Special guests will include family and friends throughout Florida and North Carolina, New York and Washington.
