Talking to kids about sex focus of June TJFS Tikvah program

Kids and sex will be the subject of the June Tampa Jewish Family Services’ Tikvah Talk special needs program .

Erica DuPont, LCSW, president/ owner of Pro Therapy Plus, will speak on “Healthy Sexual Development for Young Children to Adolescents.”

DuPont will discuss when and how to talk about sexuality with your children; natural and healthy sexual behavior in preschool through fourth grade children; 20 characteristics of problematic sexual behavior in children; and sexuality with adolescents and young adults with developmental delays.

TIKVAH Talk will be Tuesday, June 29, from 7-9 p.m. at the Maureen and Doug Cohn Jewish Community Campus, 13191 Community Campus Drive, located off Gunn Highway near the Veteran’s Expressway.

TIKVAH Talk is open to the community. A voluntary $5 donation is appreciated. RSVP is preferred but not required. Directions and other information are available at www.tjfs.org.
