Cong. Kol Ami
Annual kick-off: Come to Congregation Kol Ami’s annual kick-off Sunday, Aug. 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to see what programs are coming up this year. Pick up religious school packets, sign up as a volunteer, join Hazak, a chavurah, Sisterhood, Men’s Club, USY, Kadima, Boneem, or learn about Torah University classes. The bloodmobile also will be at the synagogue.
Special service: The Musical Infusion Initiative’s Shabbat Ruach service will be held on July 30, at 6:30 p.m. Join this special Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma’ariv service that will be filled with inspiring melodies and meaningful teachings.
Jewish meditation: Join Rabbi Bob Judd every Wednesday at 7 p.m., before minyan, for an introduction to Jewish Meditation in the synagogue chapel. Rabbi Judd will teach basic Jewish meditation techniques. Participants will discuss and put what is learned into practice.
Torah U: Rabbi Judd leads a presentation on the Torah’s parsha of the week, followed by a discussion on Wednesdays at 11 a.m. He also teaches a Talmud class on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m following the evening minyan.
Let’s go Rays: Kol Ami is sponsoring an afternoon at the ballpark to see the Tampa Bay Rays take on the Baltimore Orioles on Aug. 15 at 1:30 p.m. Cost is $12 per person. For more information, contact
