TIKVAH Special Needs program to feature parents’ viewpoint

A parent’s perspective on raising a special needs child will be the focus of the next TIKVAH Talk group.

Sponsored by the Special Needs Program at Tampa Jewish Family Services, the program will feature Willie and LaKeesha Hines who will talk about their personal experiences raising one child with special needs and one “typical” child. Information on community based resources also will be discussed.

TIKVAH Talk will be held on Monday, July 26, from 7-9 p.m. at the Tampa Jewish Community Center, 13009 Community Campus Drive, located off Gunn Highway.

TIKVAH Talk is open to the community, but a voluntary $5 donation is appreciated. RSVP is preferred but not required. For more information or directions, go to www.tjfs.org. To RSVP, contact Lydia Abrams at lydiaa@tjfs.org.
