PHILIP B. BRINEN,

PHILIP B. BRINEN, 90, of Tampa, died July 21. A native of Georgia, he moved to Tampa in 1947. He had served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was co-owner of Brinen & Sinsley Insurance Agency for over 35 years and was a member of Congregation Schaarai Zedek. He also belonged to the Westshore Sertoma, the Tampa Sports Club and was a 32nd degree Mason and member of Egypt Temple Shrine. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Gertrude; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Jenny Brinen, Denver; daughters and sons-in-law, Robyn and Dr. Robert Kessler, New Orleans, and Fredda and Dr. Steven Weisbond, Tampa; sister, Edythe Kessler, Tampa; six grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to Congregation Schaarai Zedek. (Segal Funeral Home, Beth David Chapel)
