Kol Ami, Rodeph Sholom to hold joint Selichot service
A Selichot service, co-sponsored by Congregations Kol Ami and Rodeph Sholom, will be Saturday Sept. 4, at 9:30 p.m.
The program and Selichot, a service of forgiveness, ushering in the Days of Awe and Repentance, will begin with a dessert reception followed by a 10 p.m. concert of chamber music. Musicians from the Tampa Bay Symphony, featuring violinist Oleg Gayer, will perform their version of Kol Nidre.
At 11p.m., the evening will conclude with the Selichot service, led by Rabbi Marc Sack and Cantor Moshe Friedler of Rodeph Sholom and Kol Ami’s Rabbi Bob Judd and Cantor Jodi Sered-Lever.
