Obituaries

ELAINE FREEDMAN, 76, of Clearwater, died Dec. 20. She was born in Everett, MA and raised her family in Holbrook prior to moving to Florida in 1986. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Harold; her children, Terri Freedman, Randy Freedman, Steven Freedman, Karen Pucciarelli, Robin Cole; sister, Sandra Zeltcer; daughterin law, Danita and two sons-in-law, Dana and Joe; sister, Sandra Zeltcer; and 13 grandchildren. ANITA JOYCE LATTER, 62, of Tampa, died Jan. 4. She was born in Detroit, MI and moved to Tampa in 1970 from Satellite Beach. She was a graduate of the University of Florida, a member of Congregation Schaarai Zedek in Tampa and its Sisterhood and was a member of Hadassah. Survivors include her mother, Ruth Klein, Tampa; two sons, Theodore Newman, Tampa and Seth Latter, Nashville, TN; two sisters, Judith Rosenblatt, Chicago, IL and Karen Klein, Altamonte Springs. The family suggests memorials may be made to The Spring of Tampa Bay or Congregation Schaarai Zedek. (Segal Funeral Home, Beth David Chapel)

CRAIG NEUMAN, 48, of Riverview, died Jan. 10. Born in Tampa he was a graduate of Plant High School and Hillsborough Community College in Electronics Technology and a 1992 graduate of Full Sail Center of the Recording Arts. He worked for Sound Advice, Centercom, Fox Channel 13 and CITV. He was a Regional Marketing Manager with the Maddux Business Report from 2000 to 2009. He most recently was an Executive Producer at Tampa Digital. He was also involved in several marketing associations and held several board positions including President of the Tampa Bay Advertising Federation and was a board member of the Florida Autism Center of Excellence. Survivors include his wife of almost 12 years Collette; son, Jacob; mother, Cookie Neuman; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rod and Jill and Lon and Jennifer; mother and father in-law, Debra and Thomas Couey; two brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas Couey and Christopher and Theresa Couey. FREDERICK SCHNEID, 83, of Tampa, died Dec. 22. He moved to Tampa in 1972 from his native, New York. He had served in the U.S. Army and was a real estate developer and owner of Ferm Builders for a number of years. He was a member of Congregation Schaarai Zedek. Survivors include two daughters, Jo Ann Solomon and Nancy Schneid, both of Tampa; sister, Sandy Levine, Long Island, NY; and two grandchildren. The family suggests memorials may be made to LifePath Hospice. (Segal Funeral Home, Beth David Chapel)
