Sisterhood’s Women’s Seder: Join the Sisterhood for a special Women’s Seder led by Cantor Riselle Bain on Tuesday, April 3 at 6:30 p.m. A potluck turkey dinner will be served after the reading of the Passover story. “Hike in “The Wilderness:” After crossing the Red Sea and gaining freedom, Jews endured 40 years in the wilderness. Join the rabbis and cantor for a day in “the wilderness” on Saturday, April 7 as congregants celebrate Shabbat and the first day of Passover with a morning of hiking, prayer, song, and study in and around the beautiful Trout Creek Park along the Hillsborough River in Temple Terrace. Saying thanks: A Senior Shabbat dinner and service honoring Rheda Bloom will be held on Friday, April 13, with dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the service at 7:30 p.m. The event is to thank Bloom for 25 years of service to the temple through her outstanding lunches and programs for the Schaarai Zedek Seniors project. Yizkor Service: A traditional Passover Yizkor service to remember deceased loved ones will be held on Friday, April 13 at 10:30 a.m.

Bagels N’ Blocks: Parents and children from newborn to 5 years old can join the next Bagels N’ Blocks session on Friday, April 20 from 10:30- 11:45 a.m. There will be a visit by the Pesach puppets as children learn about Moses, matzah and more. Sandwich N’ Socks Sunday: Congregation members will gather to make bag lunches and small mitzvah bags containing socks, toiletries, and non-perishable food for the homeless on Sunday, April 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bags will then be taken for donation to agencies that serve the homeless.
