Hillel Academy’s Legacy of Light Gala March 9

Hillel Academy invites the community to its upcoming Legacy of Light Gala,  on March 9 at the Forman Event Center, located on Hillel’s campus.

The Legacy of Light Gala highlights Hillel Academy’s commitment to academic excellence while raising funds for essential initiatives. Funds raised during the event will be dedicated to teacher development and enhancing the integrated Jewish studies, General studies Early Learning Center (ELC) through 10th-grade Cambridge Curriculum.

The evening holds a special significance as it marks the launch of a brand-new Israel advocacy program. In a unique move, this program is designed to reach students from the primary division through High school. Hillel Academy is proud to collaborate with distinguished experts such as former head of school Amy Wasser, Prizmah, and the Tikvah Fund to focus on Zionism and Modern Israel.

The Gala will be a celebration of outstanding contributions to Jewish education, with the presentation of the Legacy of Light Award to Wasser. In recognition of 20+ years of exemplary service to the school, the Academic Excellence Award will be bestowed upon Hillel’s Middle School English/Language Arts Teacher, Jessica Wittcoff.

Adding to the evening will be a kosher culinary experience curated by Sylvia and Shani. The entertainment highlight will feature a captivating dueling pianos show.
