ALAN STUART BEER, 53, of Wesley Chapel, died Feb. 23. Born in Queens, NY, his family moved to Florida in 1983. A graduate of the University of Florida, he was a lifelong Florida Gator fan. He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a Master of Business Administration. He was the Southeast Regional Director of Power and Energy Services for AECOM. An avid sports fan, he rarely missed a Gator, NY Giant or Yankee game, and most recently was the head coach of the JV football team at Wiregrass Ranch High School. He was a member of Congregation Schaarai Zedek. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Jamie; his three children, Alec, Jordyn, and Abram; his bother Jeremy (Amy); sisters-in-law, Kim (Craig) and Tracie (Paul). The family suggests memorials to Wiregrass Ranch High School Athletic Boosters, Alan S. Beer Memorial Fund. (Segal Funeral Home)

GEOFFREY M. GOLDSMITH, 61, of Ventnor City, NJ, died March 4. He grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ, and attended college at Rutgers University. He worked for Atlantic City Casinos, starting as a car valet and working his way up to a blackjack dealer. He also worked for RCA doing financial data entry. He then became owner and driver of an Atlantic City jitney. Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law Lisa and Gary Teblum. The family suggests memorials to Congregation Kol Ami. DR. DAVID SEITZMAN, 91, of Sun City Center, died March 6. Born in Patterson, NJ he was a US Army veteran and a physician. Survivors include his wife Rochelle Seitzman. (David C. Gross Funeral Home)
